Married on the 17th of February, Ashna and Ash had their wedding ceremony at the Carousel and reception at Luminare in South Melbourne. As Ashna works in the wedding industry as well, she soon fell in love with our video portfolio when we met on the wedding expo. For their wedding vunue, the couples has chosen venue with probably the best views in the South Melbourne: while Carousel has the lakeside views, the rooftop of Luminare gives you the entire view and Melbourne city skyline,
On the wedding day, our videographer started by shooting the bride and groom’s getting ready. The bride had her preparation done at Grand Hyatt and the groom had his at Park Hyatt. During the shoot, our videographer maintained a easy-going and candid shooting style so everyone had lots of fun.
As our groom is a major petrolhead, he will be entering the ceremony in a group of cars. Our videographers set up both camera on the ground as well as the drone camera in order to capture the car shots in both angle.
The ceremony at the Carousel was intimate and warm. White has been used as the main color theme, which created an even more elegant vibe together with the lakeside view. During the bridal entrance, our videography team also set up a drone cam to achieve an overhead shot of the wedding.
After the ceremony, we then headed to some of the most famous wedding video locations including the Carlton Garden. After that, we headed straight to the Luminare for some rooftop shoots. The backdrop of the city skyline creates a modern style in the video.
The reception at the Luminare was all about luxury. With the hanging glass lights and the big dance floor. Everything sitting there was just beautiful. Not to mention, at the end of the reception, the groom has arranged an event called “mecca’s farewell” which groom sent off a trolley of meccas hamburger to the leaving guest. This unique game was all captured by our videography team and we are sure that after many years, this will become precious memories that will bring smile and happiness to their faces.
Thank you Ashna and Ash for inviting the Tree studio to document your one in a lifetime event.
